Dimensions: Two cones 10 Yards apart with players separated evenly by either cone facing each other. Lay more cones to accommodate more players.
One soccer ball needed per group, but a supply should be kept nearby to keep the activity flowing.
How to: The player at the front of one line passes the ball to the player at the front of the opposite line and follows their pass, moving to the back of the opposite line, the player now in possession controls the ball and passes back to the next player in the opposite line, again following their pass to the back of the other line. Drill continues with the same flow.
Coaching Points: Stress good quality of passes, this should be a warm up, not a race, ensure the players are taking a touch before playing the ball back initially.
-One touch passing
-The player who passes runs at the receiving player to apply passive pressure. Receiving player must take a touch out of their feet to round the defender before playing the ball and pressuring the next player.
-Advanced Sequence (see second video) Passes are played to vacant cones in a triangle formation. Players must pass and move in the sequence shown
